Weekly Photo Challenge: Escape

Escape

This week’s photo challenge is ‘Escape.’ Its very apt right now so here’s a recent photo that conjures up escape for me.  I love the sea, its wild, ever-changing nature. It is irrepressible, able to escape it’s confines and break over land or into the air as this shot taken in Barmouth, Wales, manages to capture.

  1. Lovely, Tracy! I often wonder if my love for the sea is linked to my English heritage & your post makes me question that even more! I come from a long line of Scots & Englishmen. I was the first in my family to be born in America. And my family has always longed to go back home — and each and every one is a lover of the sea.
    Beautiful picture. 🙂

  6. When John and I lived in North Carolina, one of our favorite places to visit was Cape Hatteras. There’s an amazing thing that happens near there. The Labrador Current from Canada and The Florida Current from the Gulf Stream, collide! This produces the most crashing waves off the coast. I am trying to find a photo for you. So far, no luck. Someone will take away my Queen of the Google title any minute now.
